Woodford remembers the fallen at touching service
The Woodford community gathered last Friday on November 11 to remember the armed forces members who have died in the line of duty.
Woodford RSL Sub Branch members, emergency services, local schools and community groups were in attendance.
Woodford RSL Sub Branch Acting President Robert Patterson said Remembrance Day marks the end of WWI 104 years ago.
“It’s about remembering the catastrophic toll of humans both for and against.
“It’s up to services like RSL to keep active participation to remind people of this fact.”
