Women's lunch returns for 2021
Women with a background in business or agriculture are invited to the annual 'Let's Do Lunch' in November.

Improving connectedness, knowledge and self-awareness to help deal with challenges created by ongoing drought is a key goal of a lunch event for women being held in late November.
Regain your energy ahead of the festive season by joining other like-minded women from 10am, Saturday 20 November at the Somerset Civic Centre, for some fun, entertainment and a delicious two course lunch.
Deputy Mayor Cr Helen Brieschke said, 'Let’s Do Lunch' is an event for business and farming women in the Somerset region who have been impacted by drought or the pandemic.
“It’s important that we have an understanding of how long-term pressures can affect us as individuals, families or businesses, and to make time for our own well-being in that space," Cr Brieschke said
Guest speaker Tina Bramley, a holistic counsellor, will share her learnings based on modern techniques and ancient wisdom from around the globe while Dee Bradbery (Wild Eyes Wonder) will provide a musical interlude over lunch.
The event has been made possible through the Queensland Government’s Community Drought Support Program and is also supported by West Moreton Health through joint disaster recovery funding arrangements.
