Wet Wednesday warning
THE Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Southeast Queensland, with heavy rain, damaging winds and large hailstones predicted for this afternoon (January 4 2023).
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services are encouraging residents to start preparing by securing loose items, staying away from fallen trees and power lines and moving cars undercover if possible.
