Wamuran succeeds in Division 4 run chase
Wamuran-Stanley River chased down a competitive total in the Division 4 cricket match against Maroochydore at Wamuran Sports Reserve.

In reply to Maroochydore’s 255 all out in 71.1 overs, the hosts amassed 265 for the loss of seven wickets in 80 overs.
Close but no cigar in Division 6
A first innings win slipped through Wamuran-Stanley River’s fingers in the Division 6 contest at Briggs Park.
After Wamuran-Stanley River was dismissed for 179, Palmwoods was 9/168 before a last wicket partnership of 15 decided which team gained more competition points.
Wamuran-Stanley River finished its second innings at 4/83 from 17 overs.
Wickets galore in women’s contest
Wamuran-Stanley River had a resounding victory against host team Glasshouse Gold in women’s cricket last Sunday.
The hosts were skittled for 29 in 12.4 overs, before the visitors reached the target in 5.5 overs for the loss of four wickets.
