Sun, rain and possible storms loom

RESIDENTS in the Somerset and Moreton Bay areas can expect hot weather and the likelihood of showers on Saturday, before conditions settle down the following day.

Rain is imminent in some Somerset and Moreton Bay areas on Friday afternoon, including Kilcoy and Woodford, before Saturday is expected to bring a mixture of heat, rain and likely patchy storms across the region.

Temperatures are likely to hover in the low to mid 30s on Saturday before dropping to the mid 20s on Sunday, with less rain about on Sunday.
