Storm warning for Kilcoy
The Weather Bureau has issued a storm warning for Kilcoy, with a severe thunderstorm detected on radar.
A severe storm warning is in place for Kilcoy, including damaging winds, large hailstones and heavy rainfall
The storm cell was detected on radar at 2.40pm, and is predicted to hit Kilcoy by 3.40pm
The Bureau is warning of damaging winds, large hailstones and heavy rainfall, which could lead to flash flooding.
Drivers are reminded, if they encounter water across roads, 'If it is flooded, forget it'.
The next warning is due to be issued by 3.55pm.
