Storm hits Jimna, Kilcoy may be next
The small town of Jimna in the north of the Somerset region is currently being lashed by a storm cell.
Storm clouds build over Jimna, and extend south towards Kilcoy
The slow moving storm has hovered over Jimna for more than 30 minutes, with rainfall of more than 50mm showing on the BoM weather radar.
There are no reports of damage from the area, however the storm cell is now expanding south towards Kilcoy.
While there are two severe storm warnings in place for parts of the Somerset region, the Jimna district is not included in these warnings.
