Somerset road closures continue

Despite the easing of flood conditions, a number of roads remain closed around the Somerset region.

Somerset Regional Council's Disaster Dashboard shows 16 roads still closed as a result of flooding or flood damage, including the Brisbane Valley Highway at Fernvale, and Esk-Kilcoy Rd near Kirkleagh.

Cooeembardi Road is also closed, near the intersection with Esk-Kilcoy Rd.

Drivers are advised to find alternate routes to complete their journeys.

Lake Somerset Holiday Park at Kirkleagh is accessible via Kilcoy and Hazeldean, while Somerset Village can only be accessed via the Esk end of Esk-Kilcoy Rd.
