Richardson & Wrench Caboolture, in partnership with Saints Care Community Development Service South East Queensland, has been "overwhelmed" by the community support for its Back to School program, with donations exceeding expectations. Initially planned to support 150 children across five state schools, the program has now expanded to help 234 students, thanks to the generosity of the local community.

"We are thrilled to have exceeded our initial goal and are now able to support nearly 100 more students than expected," said a representative of the program. "This wouldn't have been possible without the kindness of our local community."

With the support of the Caboolture Sports Club and the local Lions Club, backpacks filled with essential school supplies will be ready for pick-up on the following scheduled collection days:

  • Caboolture Neighbourhood Centre: 22nd January 2025, between 10 am – 1 pm

  • Deception Bay Neighbourhood Centre: 24th January 2025, between 10 am – 1 pm

Richardson & Wrench Caboolture is also seeking qualified hairdressers with a BlueCard who have free time to volunteer and provide haircuts during the collection days.

The schools participating in the program are:

  • Morayfield State School

  • Caboolture State School

  • Caboolture East State School

  • Deception Bay North State School

  • Deception Bay State School
