Rain and showers expected
The much anticipated rain finally arrived in parts of Moreton and Somerset on Thursday.
At Woodford, the rain began at about 1pm, not long after the conclusion of a charity golf event.
The rain also held off throughout the area until after Remembrance Day events were held in the morning.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM), more showers are expected throughout the region for the remainder of Thursday and on Friday.
