Unique regional events such as the Julia Creek Dirt and Dust Festival, Jumpers and Jazz in July, and the Scenic Rim Clydesdale Spectacular will further demonstrate Queensland’s local offerings, while the return of the Magic Millions Carnival will once again captivate visitors.
Business events are also set to thrive, with major events like the Brisbane Truck Show drawing industry professionals from around the world.
Minister for the Environment and Tourism, Minister for Science and Innovation, Andrew Powell, emphasised the importance of events in Queensland’s tourism strategy.

Richard Clarke, Group Executive Events at Tourism and Events Queensland, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the role of events in boosting the state's economy and profile.
"Events play a pivotal role in attracting visitors, encouraging them to stay longer, and generating economic returns for communities," Clarke said.
