Possible storms in Moreton and Somerset
ISOLATED thunderstorms and rain are expected in much of the Moreton Bay region and some of the Somerset area this afternoon and evening, according to the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM).
Thunder occurred in parts of the area, including Kilcoy, between 2pm and 2.30pm.
A BoM spokesperson said any thunderstorms were unlikely to be severe this afternoon and this evening, although there could be stronger storms on Thursday.
