Somerset and Moreton Bay residents are waking up to see how their properties fared, after another overnight storm cell lashed parts of the region.

The storm cell, which hit around 4am this morning, brought strong winds and hail to some areas, with Kilcoy subject to a severe storm warning.
Social media posts reported some power and NBN outages, along with 'torrential' rain falls.
