Men’s mental health takes centre stage
Community members are invited to join the Great Mate Check-In at Hip Hops Brewery on November 1, a panel discussion dedicated to men’s mental health.
The event aims to raise awareness and funds for the Men’s Information and Support Association (MISA), a non-profit supporting men in the Moreton Bay area.
Last year, the initiative raised over $2,000, providing 33 free counselling sessions for men in need.
This year’s panel will focus on men building accountability, and serving as role models, while emphasising the importance of emotional vulnerability.
