Meeting raises awareness of Linville powerline issue
About 40 people attended a meeting at the Linville Community Hall on Sunday August 13 to learn about the concerns surrounding the high voltage transmission lines and renewable energy projects being proposed in the local area.
Jim Willmott was one of three guest speakers at a recent meeting at the Linville Community Hall, regarding high voltage transmission lines and renewable energy projects.
Attendees travelled from places including Nanango, Brisbane, Crows Nest and Dalby to listen to three guest speakers.
Partway through the presentations, one attendee told the gathering that she had learned more in the past hour than from all of the other meetings she had attended.
