Good rainfall, but creeks still dry
The 'green drought' continues, with strong rainfall figures across the Somerset and Moreton Bay regions, but with little run off.

Creeks remain dry despite recent solid rainfalls across the region
While areas including Glen Esk (25mm), Morayfield (25mm), Ocean View (16mm) and Lake Manchester (40mm) all reported good falls in the last 24 hours, virtually none of the many creeks throughout the region showed any inflows.
Most of the monitoring stations all reported creek and river levels as 'steady', with only minimal volumes of rainfall currently reaching the waterways.
