The highlight of the celebration was an insightful talk from guest speaker Wendye Gratton, a well-respected member of the Marburg area.
Wendye, who serves as the secretary of both the Marburg Residents Association and the Rosewood Historical Society, shared fascinating stories about her life in the Marburg area.
She also spoke fondly of her mother, who was an active member of the Marburg QCWA.
Wendye took the opportunity to provide a brief history of both the Marburg QCWA and the Glamorgan Vale QCWA, offering a glimpse into the enduring legacy of these local organisations.
The event was a wonderful occasion for community members to come together, and a delicious morning tea was served, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all attendees.
