The Crisafulli Government will unveil its Delivery Plan for the 2032 Olympics and Paralympics on 25 March, bringing an end to over 1,200 days of Labor Games chaos.
The Delivery Plan will be released alongside the final report from the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority, following extensive consultation. Over 5,000 submissions were received, and the final report was delivered to the government on 8 March.
The Cabinet will sign off on the plan on 24 March after discussions with the International Olympic Committee, the President of the Organising Committee, local government, and the Commonwealth Government.
Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie said the Crisafulli Government is delivering a fresh start for the Games.
“We will deliver a plan that sets Queensland on track to make the most of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” he said.
“Unlike Labor’s chaotic approach, our Delivery Plan is based on expert advice, focused on generational infrastructure and delivering a world-class event. Queenslanders won’t be embarrassed on the global stage.”
The plan will also include a 20-year tourism strategy, ensuring Queensland benefits for generations to come.
