Games-based teaching hones youngsters’ tennis skills
LEARNING via a fun games-based teaching method encourages youngsters to serve, rally and score while playing the actual game of tennis.
This is the approach used by Kilcoy Tennis coach Jani Kroyherr (pictured) in his Tennis Clinics at the Kilcoy Tennis Club.
The children learnt fundamental techniques, mindsets and tactics, before finishing with some intense agility sprints.
Groups of eager young children took part in the clinics that taught the skills of tennis on Monday and Tuesday, June 28 and 29, during the school holidays.
