Flooding eases, but roads remain closed
Floodwaters have begun dropping across much of Moreton Bay Regional Council area, but more than 100 road remain closed.
The latest update to the council's disaster portal shows 109 roads remain closed, and seven evacuation centres are still operating.
Many roads remain closed despite having no water across them, as council road engineers need to assess each road for safe travel.
The D'Aguilar Highway between Woodford and Kilcoy has now reopened to light vehicles only, with trucks still banned from the road.
