Fatal truck crash in Caboolture
A MAN died following a crash involving a truck in Caboolture on the afternoon of Monday July 12.
Just before 5pm, the semi-trailer was travelling southbound on the Bruce Highway and rolled as it approached the D’Aguilar Highway off-ramp towards Bribie Island.
Emergency services attended, however, the 59-year-old driver died at the scene.
The driver was an employee of Maleny Dairies.
The exit was closed overnight as the Forensic Crash Unit examined the area.
It’s believed the man may have suffered a medical episode preceeding the rollover. Investigations are continuing.
