E-Bike theft, Strathpine

POLICE are investigating the theft of an e-bike from a hotel on Gympie Road at Strathpine on May 31.

The owner, a 43-year-old Eaton’s Hill man, relies on the bike for transport after opting to no longer driver when a medical condition impaired his vision.

The bike was left outside the hotel unattended for a few short minutes.

CCTV captured the person below removing the bike at about 3.30pm.

Police are asking for assistance from the public to identify the person.

The bike is a grey coloured FOCUS brand e-bike.

Police would love to get this bike back to the owner and are appealing to the public to call if they have any information.
