Dolphins set to enter NRL
THE Redcliffe Dolphins are poised to join the National Rugby League (NRL) competition in 2023, following an announcement on Monday afternoon that the Dolphins clinched the NRL’s 17th license.

The Moreton Bay-based club was locked in a three-way battle with the Brisbane Jets and Firehawks in an effort to become the fourth Queensland NRL club, along with the Brisbane Broncos, Gold Coast Titans and North Queensland Cowboys.
The decision about the Dolphins joining the NRL is yet to be rubber-stamped, while a formal announcement is expected this week.
