Dam releases continue, water treatment plants closing
The flood dramas across southeastern Queensland, with dam operator Seqwater opening both Wivenhoe and Somerset Dams, and water treatment plants at North Pine and Mount Crosby failing due to excessive debris in the river systems.

Travellers are urged to take care, with hundreds of roads throughout the Somerset and Moreton Bay regions closed, for more information click here for Somerset and here for Moreton Bay Region.
Tributes are flowing for Lowood SES volunteer Merryl Dray, who died in a 'line of duty' accident on Friday night at Coolana.
Rain is beginning to ease in places, however it is expected flood conditions will remain for a number of days, as water from catchment areas continues to flow into the Brisbane and Stanley Rivers.
Motorists are again urged 'if it is flooded, forget it'.
