D'Aguilar Highway closed at Woolmar after crash
Police have closed the D'Aguilar Highway at Woolmar after a single vehicle crash this afternoon.
A woman in her 70s has been transferred by road to Sunshine Coast Hospital in a serious condition, with possible significant injuries.
A male passenger has also been assessed for critical injuries.
The D'Aguilar Highway is likely to remain closed for some time, traffic is advised to use Gregor Creek Road as a detour, if possible.
Despite reports of a rescue helicopter being seen in the area, a QAS spokesperson said no helicopter was despatched as part of the ambulance response.
More information will released later this afternoon as QPS officers continue their investigations.
