Crowd flocks to Woodford RSL sub branch
MORE than 100 people flocked to the Woodford RSL sub branch on Thursday morning to mark Remembrance Day.

Members of the Woodford RSL sub branch, State Emergency Service (SES), Fire and Rescue, Woodford State School, Delaneys Creek State School and Woodford Singers were in attendance, along with other community members.
The service included a prayer, address, a couple of poems, the laying of wreaths, reciting The Ode, listening to The Last Post, and having a minute’s silence.
The national anthem was sung, and the Benediction was read before the Woodford State School choir sang You Raise Me Up, and Beneath the Southern Cross.
Many of the attendees stayed afterwards for a barbecue lunch.
