Car crash claims a second life
A second person has died as a result of last Friday’s multi-vehicle crash on the D’Aguilar Highway at Stony Creek.

Initial investigations from the Forensic Crash Unit indicated a Mitsubishi Triton collided with a Toyota Landcruiser as they were travelling in opposite directions.
The driver of the Landcruiser was a 51-year-old Glamorgan Vale man, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The passengers of the Landcruiser were a 49-year-old woman and a teenage boy, and both of them were transported to hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The driver and passenger of the Triton, a 52-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man, were also transported to hospital from the scene.
Earlier today (January 11), the 52-year-old woman from the Kidman Creek area, died in hospital as a result of her injuries.
Investigations are continuing.
