Businesses learn to be cyber savvy
State Member for Morayfield, Mark Ryan, will launch the eighth season of his Small Business Network Coffee Catch Ups, with an informative session on cyber security.

The early morning networking event will take place on Friday, February 7, at Caboolture Sports Club, with guest speaker Dr David Lacey, Founder and CEO of IDCARE. “Cyber security is a hot topic for businesses of all sizes and is now regarded as the number one business risk of company directors,” Mr Ryan said.
“With data breaches at some of Australia’s largest corporations hitting the headlines in recent years, people are realising the importance of cyber resilience and privacy protection.
“Dr David Lacey founded IDCARE in 2014, and for the past decade his team has provided guidance and support on how to respond to data breaches, scams, identity theft and other cyber security concerns.
“This will be a networking session not to be missed!”
Over the past seven years Mark Ryan has established his Coffee Catch Ups as some of the best business networking sessions in South-East Queensland.
Open to business owners and representatives from the Moreton Bay region, they are a great opportunity to socialise and establish new contacts.
“Any local businesses who haven’t yet registered for this event should call my office and book a spot,” Mr Ryan enthused.
Entry is free but booking is essential. Phone 5343 5100 to secure your spot.
