Bumper day of rugby league in Kilcoy
The town of Kilcoy will be treated to a feast of rugby league this Saturday, just three days after game three of the State of Origin series.
In the Sunshine Coast Gympie Rugby League (SCGRL) C grade competition, Palmwoods will take on Mary Valley at 12.15pm before the Kilcoy Yowies oppose Pomona-Cooran at 1.45pm.
The third and final game will be the Queensland Rugby League (QRL) Hostplus Cup fixture featuring the Brisbane Tigers and Tweed Seagulls, with kick-off at 3.30pm.
The Hostplus Cup match at Yowie Park is part of the Country Week round, with other matches played at Wondai, Biloela, Miles, Stanthorpe, Proserpine and Weipa.
Entry to the football at Kilcoy will be $5.
